At the core of every work environment is a boss, manager or supervisor that either makes or breaks your work experience. In 2017 I will celebrate 30 years of working with organizations to create amazing places to work. In that time I do believe I have seen it all. And by all, I mean hundreds of different personalities, competencies and communication styles. Some managers are amazing, some are cruel, but most are doing the best they can with the resources they have.
This week the SMARTworkplace presents a tongue-in-cheek quiz that asks about four management styles. What Kind of Animal is Your Manager is primarily a just-for-fun appraisal of YOUR manager. We believe these animal types embody both the best and the worst archetypes of today’s leaders. We invite you to participate in this somewhat scientific, somewhat humorous, look at your boss.
